Worshiphymns Launch!

by Don Chapman

I’m excited to announce the launch of Worshiphymns.com! This website is the culmination of my passion for bringing timeless hymns into the modern worship era.

Over the years as a worship leader and arranger, I’ve seen how powerful it can be to blend traditional hymns with contemporary praise music. There’s something special about those classic lyrics and melodies that have stood the test of time. Yet trying to get a modern worship band to pull off a hymn can be like mixing oil and water!

That’s why I started arranging fresh, modern-sounding versions of hymns that are accessible for worship bands while retaining their theological depth and beauty. No more struggling to cram accompaniments meant for pipe organs into your worship set!

At Worshiphymns.com you’ll find chord charts, sheet music and multitracks for your entire worship team to learn and lead the most popular and best-loved hymns. I’m launching with 5 arrangementsGreat Is Thy Faithfulness and 4 Christmas carols. I’ll add a few more Christmas carols up until December!

I can’t wait for you to experience the power and richness these reimagined hymns will bring to your church’s worship. They’re perfect for bookending a praise set, transitioning from worship songs into a time of response or prayer, and so much more.

Everything you need is just a click or download away, with unlimited access to print, copy, and stream the resources. There are no restrictions or hidden fees.

My hope is that Worshiphymns.com will equip you to take your congregation’s worship to a whole new level. Let’s come together to mix the classics we know and love with new sounds and styles that help connect people to God in a fresh way.

If you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you. I can’t wait for you to experience the music!

  • What is the difference between Worshiphymns and Hymncharts? Are the Worshiphymns different arrangements than the Hymncharts hymns?

    Reply
    • They are the same arrangements, but there are more sheet music files for the same arrangement at hymncharts like instrumental parts and SATB choir. Worshiphymns is for churches with worship leader-led worship bands who don’t need extra vocal and instrumental sheet music.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! And again, Thank you! I love these hymn arrangements for smaller Worship Teams!!
    My questions are:
Is a separate subscription required for Hymncharts & Worshiphymns? Can we use our current Hymncharts subscription to access both websites until it expires?

    Reply
    • You don’t need a separate subscription. The same exact arrangements are at both Hymncharts and Worshiphymns – Hymncharts has more sheet music options like SATB choir and instrumental parts.
